Servus! Meet the Homebase
Viennese vibes in networking heaven
ViennaUP is a decentralized festival, with events taking place all over town. After a busy day, participants need a central space to re-connect with others and kick back just a little as the sun goes down. Enter the Homebase.
This is a festival info point, outdoor networking area and easy-to-find meeting spot for all participants. Located across from the magnificent Karlskirche (St. Charles’ Church) and the newly re-opened Wien Museum, the space is outfitted with leisurely seating and natural shade (a.k.a. trees), surrounded by the gentle hubbub of the city.
At the intersection of U-Bahn lines U1, U2 and U4, as well as several key tram and bus lines, Karlsplatz is truly a central hub for Viennese life – making it super easy to reach. Indeed, this is a place where many locals come to catch some sun or meet up for a night out.
As in previous years, participants with a ViennaUP wristband will be able to sample top-notch Viennese wine, beer and delicacies.
The programme for 2024 will give you a taste (quite literally) of the real Vienna: cosmopolitan, forward-looking and yet brimming with tradition.
We can’t wait to see you here.
The Homebase is the central place for ViennaUP participants to meet and connect, and there’s always something going on. No two days at the Homebase are the same.
